Soccer Game Preview: Bishop's vs. Maranatha Christian

The Bishop's Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Maranatha Christian Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bishop's is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against La Jolla Country Day on Tuesday. Bishop's came up short against La Jolla Country Day, falling 3-0. The result was nothing new for the Knights as the squad haven't won a game since January 24th.

Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian also has not seen a win for a while (their last was two weeks ago), and their game on Wednesday was sadly no different. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Orange Glen. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 760th, while the Patriots are ranked 105th).

Maranatha Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
