Basketball Recap: Northland Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Northland Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-18 loss at the hands of the St. Johns Redskins. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redskins from their previous meeting back in November of 2017.

Northland Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for St. Johns, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northland Prep Academy will challenge Pinon at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northland Prep Academy is facing Pinon at the right time seeing as Pinon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Johns, they will square off against Winslow at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winslow has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
