Flag Football Game Preview: Rio Americano Raiders vs. Bella Vista Broncos + Official Tickets

The Rio Americano Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Bella Vista Broncos at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Rio Americano and 13 for Bella Vista.

On Monday, Rio Americano came up short against Woodcreek and fell 26-14. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, Bella Vista fell victim to Ponderosa and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a blow against the Bruins, falling 32-0.

Bella Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Rio Americano, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Everything came up roses for Rio Americano against Bella Vista when the teams last played back in September, as the team secured a 46-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
