If Esperanza was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Canyon last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aztecs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sonora Raiders on Tuesday. The Aztecs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Esperanza's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Sonora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Esperanza will take on Troy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sonora, they will take on California in a tournament on Saturday.
