Paxton posted their closest win since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They slipped by the Bethlehem Wildcats 62-61. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Paxton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryker Stokes, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 30 points. Those 30 points gave Stokes a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Lowry, who went 6-for-8 en route to 14 points.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kolton Amerson, who shot 48% from the field on his way to 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Paul, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Paxton's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Bethlehem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Paxton will be home for the holidays to greet Pensacola Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 71.73 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bethlehem, they will head out to take on Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' defense better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 58.4 points per game this season.
