Lindale posted their closest victory since May 8, 2025 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Van Alstyne Panthers, sneaking past 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2025.

Lindale's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Van Alstyne, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Lindale and Van Alstyne will both be playing Lake Ridge the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
