Muhlenberg waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They had just enough and edged the Governor Mifflin Mustangs out 40-38. This was a revenge game for the Muhls: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 77-73 loss.

Muhlenberg is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Governor Mifflin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5.

Muhlenberg won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Reading at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Reading will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Muhlenberg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Governor Mifflin, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Berks Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
