Baseball Recap: Ponderosa Has No Trouble Against Legend

Ponderosa barely beat Legend the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 22-11 victory on Thursday. The match marked the Mustangs' most dominant win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Isai Santaella, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ethan Alejo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ponderosa kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Ponderosa is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Legend, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
