Baseball Recap: Anclote Comes Up Short

Anclote lost against Mitchell back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Anclote lost 11-3 to Mitchell. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paul Ramos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Anclote's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Mitchell, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Anclote didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Pasco on the 28th. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Sunlake on the 28th.
