Baseball Recap: Red Creek Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Red Creek's offense. They came up short against the Gananda Central Blue Panthers on Monday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Red Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Gananda Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Red Creek will face off against rival East Rochester at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gananda Central is set to challenge their familiar foe Sodus at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Panthers are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Spartans a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
