Soccer Recap: San Bernardino Takes a Loss

San Bernardino lost against Miller back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The San Bernardino Cardinals came up short against the Miller Rebels, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 779th, while the Rebels are ranked 383rd).

San Bernardino's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Miller, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-1-1 record this season.

San Bernardino will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Indian Springs at 3:45 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Miller will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Pacific at 3:45 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
