Basketball Recap: Eastlake Takes a Loss

Eastlake played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 74-47 defeat at the hands of the Lake Washington Kangaroos. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Kangaroos recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Brooke Mccartney and Megan Roberts certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Mccartney dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Roberts posted 20 points. Mccartney is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Borup, who had four points and five rebounds.

Eastlake's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lake Washington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Eastlake will host Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Washington, they will be taking part in a tournament against Camas at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th.
