Basketball Recap: Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Parshall/North Shore last Friday, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood came back down to earth. The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks took a 66-49 bruising from the Bishop Ryan Lions on Monday. The Mavericks haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Bishop Ryan, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood and Bishop Ryan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood will challenge Surrey at 7:15 p.m. on February 17th up 62 places (28 vs. 90). Similarly, Bishop Ryan (ranked fourth) will meet Berthold (ranked 119th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
