Softball Preview: Big Foot Chiefs vs. Monroe Cheesemakers        
        
		
            
 The Big Foot Chiefs will head out on the road to  challenge  the Monroe Cheesemakers at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
 Big Foot is headed out hoping to continue their success from last week, when the picked up their first road  win of the season  on Thursday. They fell just short of Clinton by a score of  6-5.
  Holly Kynell put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  six innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Kynell has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Kynell was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Lily Wolf made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to  hits, as she's  now  hit three or more in the last three games she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Monroe came tearing into  Tuesday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They won by a  run and slipped past the Eagles  5-4.
 Big Foot's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-4. As for Monroe, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
