Soccer Game Preview: Warsaw vs. Mount Morris

The Warsaw Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Mount Morris Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Warsaw's offense. They fell just short of Le Roy by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Mount Morris also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Geneseo on Wednesday, falling 8-0. Mount Morris has struggled against Geneseo recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mount Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Warsaw, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Warsaw took their victory against Mount Morris in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
