Baseball Recap: Oak Forest Academy Has No Trouble Against Hancock

On Friday, everything went the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets's way against the Hancock Hawks as the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets made off with a 9-3 victory. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Tanner Mulkey tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over 5.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Maison Bales was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Kelsey, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Oak Forest Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.3 runs. Hancock is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
