Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Frontier

Frontier waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-49 W against the Delphi Community Oracles. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 56-54 victory the Oracles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2025.

Despite the loss, Delphi Community saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Weston Brown dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Brown has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydn McAtee, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 19 points.

Frontier's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Delphi Community, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frontier will head out to square off against West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delphi Community, they will venture away from home to face off against Rensselaer Central at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
