In what's become a running theme this season, Leake Central gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Leake County on the road to the tune of 65-28. With Leake Central ahead 43-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Newton County beat Northeast Lauderdale 37-28 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Newton County.
Leake Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Newton County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.
