Softball Game Preview: St. Pauls Bulldogs vs. West Bladen Knights

St. Pauls hasn't had much luck against West Bladen recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. St. Pauls will look to defend their home field against West Bladen at 6:00 p.m. St. Pauls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

St. Pauls is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They fell 5-2 to Hoke County.

Angel Purcell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, West Bladen had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 10-4 win. That looming 10-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

St. Pauls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
