After only one run in their last game, Charlotte Country Day School made sure to put some runs up on the board against Ambassador Christian School on Tuesday. Everything went the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers' way against the Ambassador Christian School Lions as the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers made off with a 14-4 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Buccaneers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Sarielle Little was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Huggins, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Charlotte Country Day School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ambassador Christian School only posted an OBP of .480.
The win got Charlotte Country Day School back to even at 1-1. As for Ambassador Christian School, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
