Soccer Recap: Apex Plays to a Tie

It was a good run, but Apex unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. Neither they nor the Apex Friendship Patriots could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Apex have been dealt a draw since back in March.

Emily Degnan was the only thing that stood between Apex and a shutout considering she scored both of Apex's goals, bringing her season total up to 18 goals.
