Baseball Recap: Siren Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Siren kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Shell Lake Lakers, falling 16-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Siren saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landyn Randt, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Another was Waylon Meyer, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Siren will challenge Unity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shell Lake, they will square off against Regis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
