It was a good run, but Spring-Ford unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Upper Dublin Cardinals by a score of 59-56. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Cardinals are ranked second).

Spring-Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Upper Dublin, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring-Ford will challenge Owen J. Roberts at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Upper Dublin, they will venture away from home to square off against Bensalem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Upper Dublin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
