Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 11 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers proved on Tuesday. They took down Towers 69-54. Given Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Towers is ranked 268th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy was led to victory by Joseph Raines and Jayden Bone. Raines scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Bone scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ese Aigbokhae, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Despite the defeat, Towers saw an underclassman step up: Jalen Kelly dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. Kelly is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kevin Wynn, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Towers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.
