Louisburg and Baldwin are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. Louisburg will challenge Baldwin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Louisburg will be strutting in after a win while Baldwin will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Louisburg earned a 12-8 victory over Santa Fe Trail.

Meade Rutherford was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Amren, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Baldwin lost 16-8 to Anderson County.

The win got Louisburg back to even at 1-1. As for Baldwin, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Louisburg's way against Baldwin in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Louisburg made off with a 12-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Louisburg since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
