Sanger was the 1-0 winner over Van Alstyne when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 6-2 to the Panthers on Friday. Leala Kloewer put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

Kloewer wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Abby Chapmond, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
