Soccer Recap: First Colonial Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Great Bridge

First Colonial faced Great Bridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for First Colonial seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

First Colonial's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3. As for Great Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 11-3-1.

First Colonial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Great Bridge, they will be playing at home against Deep Creek at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
