After having lost a blowout in their previous game against El Camino, Cupertino was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 80-0 victory over the Jefferson Grizzlies. The Pioneers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cupertino's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Jefferson, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cupertino will square off against rival Monta Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to take on their familiar foe Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
