Mineral Point is 10-0 against Boscobel since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Mineral Point Pointers will venture away from home to challenge the Boscobel Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Mineral Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Boscobel likes a good challenge.

Mineral Point is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Southwestern just ended the team's 19-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 79-77. The loss put an end to the Pointers' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Boscobel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-37 loss at the hands of Fennimore.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mineral Point fell to 11-1. As for Boscobel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Mineral Point against Boscobel when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 84-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mineral Point since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
