             The Hackensack Comets will face off against the Wayne Valley Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
 Hackensack will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  points  two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Eastside  last Friday. Hackensack simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Eastside 35-7 on the road.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Wayne Valley). They blew past Paramus 41-7 at home  on Friday. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  27-0.
 Wayne Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Danny Ferrauilo, who threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes.  Elizer Estevez was another key rusher, rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
 Wayne Valley's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Bryce Flower.
 The  victory  got Hackensack back to even at 2-2. As for Wayne Valley,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Hackensack came up short against Wayne Valley when the teams last played  back in October of 2020, falling  24-14. Thankfully for Hackensack,  John Testa (who rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
