Volleyball Recap: El Cajon Valley Takes a Loss

El Cajon Valley lost against San Marcos back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Braves fell 2-0 to the Knights. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Braves haven't been shut out since back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for El Cajon Valley and nudges their season record down to 28-7. As for San Marcos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Cajon Valley will host Grossmont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Marcos, they will take on Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
