Softball Recap: Deer Park Wildcats vs. Mariemont Warriors
Deer Park barely beat Mariemont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Warriors 19-9 on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Jaelynn Richmond was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Evie Wilson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Deer Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
