Basketball Game Preview: Pleasantville Trojans vs. West Marshall Trojans

Pleasantville will face off against West Marshall on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Pleasantville is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since January 10th on Monday. They blew past Greene County, posting an 80-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, West Marshall came up short against East Marshall on Thursday and fell 80-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

West Marshall has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Pleasantville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
