Volleyball Recap: Seneca East Takes a Loss

Seneca East lost against Willard back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Crimson Flashes.

Seneca East took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-17, 25-21.

Bryn Meyer paced Seneca East's offense, picking up 16 kills. Meyer got some help from Paige Strawser and her ten assists. Finally, Karli Foos kept Seneca East's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Seneca East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Willard, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Seneca East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Vermilion on the 19th. As for Willard, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Perkins on the 21st.
