Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Gets the Win

Hillcrest proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 17) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Williamson Lions 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Lions last Friday, they had to take a 15-14 defeat.

Hillcrest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Williamson, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest will square off against Escambia County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williamson, they will take on UMS-Wright Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
