Basketball Recap: Dakota's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Anchor Bay came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Dakota, but Meadow Cameron wouldn't allow it. The Dakota Cougars snuck past the Anchor Bay Tars with a 52-47 victory on Wednesday thanks in part to Cameron, who posted 19 points and six rebounds. The game was her fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

Brooklyn Garavaglia was another key player, putting up 17 points and three blocks. That's the most blocks she has posted since back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Dakota and bumps their season record up to 10-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Anchor Bay, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5.

As of now, neither Dakota nor Anchor Bay have any future games scheduled.
