Volleyball Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

Camden County lost against Lowndes back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.

Camden County actually scored more points across those three sets (58-54), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 14-25, 15-11.

Grace Pratt paced Camden County's offense, picking up six kills. Pratt got some help from Finley Morris and her nine assists. Gracie Fields controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Lowndes, their victory bumped their record up to 26-11.

Looking ahead, Camden County will be playing at home against Savannah Arts Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowndes, they will square off against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
