Mound City waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 51-16 victory over the North Nodaway Mustangs. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Mound City's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for North Nodaway, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Worth County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mound City surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Nodaway, they will head out to face off against Union Star at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
