Windom took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Jackson County Central Huskies 11-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won nine in a row.

Quintin Tietz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Anderson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windom will face off against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson County Central, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Springfield at 1:30 p.m.
