Basketball Game Preview: East Hamilton Hurricanes vs. King's Academy Lions

The East Hamilton Hurricanes will face off against the King's Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. King's Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East Hamilton, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, East Hamilton beat Collegedale Academy 50-43. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Collegedale Eagle recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Alexa Leonor was the offensive standout of the game as she went 5-for-8 en route to 16 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in January. Ivy Cooper-White was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on her way to 11 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, King's Academy had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 71-60 to Bearden.
