Basketball Recap: Arlington Heights Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Arlington Heights won the last time they faced Chisholm Trail and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arlington Heights Yellowjackets managed a 49-44 victory over the Chisholm Trail Rangers.

Chisholm Trail's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Richardson, who posted 13 points. Richardson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Jesse Mutombo was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Arlington Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Chisholm Trail, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington Heights will venture away from home to challenge Pearce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chisholm Trail, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wylie at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Wylie will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Chisholm Trail surely won't give up without a fight.
