Smyrna scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They never let the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints onto the board and left with an 18-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Smyrna sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Adaeze Nwogbo was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Nwogbo was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Kylee Travis was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Lilian Crumley was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Smyrna's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Smyrna will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Gibson Southern at 3:00 p.m. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, they will challenge St. Joseph-Ogden at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
