Football Game Recap: Perkins-Tryon vs. Bridge Creek

On Thursday, Perkins-Tryon put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Bridge Creek to the tune of 64-7. That looming 57-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Perkins-Tryon yet.

Perkins-Tryon's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 36 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Bridge Creek couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 36-0 heading into the break. Perkins-Tryon put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.

The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Perkins-Tryon will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Marshall. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Bridge Creek, they will go up against Mannford. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
