Football Game Preview: Drumright vs. Morrison

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Morrison. On Thursday they will take on Drumright at 7:00 PM. Morrison don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

If Morrison were riding high off their 46-14 takedown of Barnsdall two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Morrison took a 12-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tonkawa. Morrison's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Drumright, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were dealt a punishing 0-40 loss at the hands of Langston Hughes Academy.

Everything went Morrison's way against Drumright the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 34-0 victory. Will Morrison repeat their success, or does Drumright have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
