Softball Game Preview: Lisbon Broncos vs. Northern Cass Jaguars

The Lisbon Broncos will take on the Northern Cass Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Enderlin hit Lisbon with a four-run fifth inning last Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lisbon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carly Mairs, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Northern Cass' offense. They lost 16-0 to Central Cass on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 32 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northern Cass, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
