Basketball Recap: Lynchburg-Clay Takes a Loss

Lynchburg-Clay played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Eastern Warriors, falling 67-45. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Lynchburg-Clay's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Eastern, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Lynchburg-Clay will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynchburg-Clay is facing Washington at the right time seeing as Washington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eastern, they will venture away from home to challenge South Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastern knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully South Webster likes a good challenge.
