Basketball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Piles Up the Points Against Revolution Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forsyth Home Educators). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Revolution Academy Rhinos 43-6. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Forsyth Home Educators was led to victory by BayLeigh Johnson and Josie Briggs. Johnson posted 20 points along with six boards and five steals, while Briggs scored eight points and ten steals. With that strong performance, Briggs is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Emma Fuerbacher, who put up two points and seven steals.

Forsyth Home Educators smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Forsyth Home Educators pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Forsyth Home Educators will head out to take on Shining Light Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Revolution Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carlisle at 4:00 p.m. on December 9.
