Softball Recap: Deer Valley Wolverines vs. Ygnacio Valley Wolves
Deer Valley won the last time they faced Ygnacio Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Deer Valley Wolverines blew past the Ygnacio Valley Wolves 22-1. The game marked the Wolverines' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Katalina Rogel made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Rogel was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Deer Valley got a massive performance out of Rosalyn Zermeno, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave Zermeno a new career-high in doubles (two).
