Baseball Recap: Mt. Rainier Rams vs. Federal Way Eagles

Mt. Rainier has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.53 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Federal Way Eagles. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Mt. Rainier saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johnny Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Lute Schoen also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Mt. Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Federal Way, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-9.
