Spruce Creek extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Tocoi Creek. They snuck past the Toros with a 6-0 win. The victory was just business as usual for the Hawks, who after 17 games remain undefeated this season.

Despite the defeat, Tocoi Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addy Curry threw for 275 yards on 20 of 30 attempts, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. Curry also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending two passes.

Spruce Creek pushed their record up to 17-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.0 point on average over those games. As for Tocoi Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Spruce Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-12 win against Timber Creek on the 28th. Tocoi Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
